2 Rock Cottages

Two Rock Cottages is a 19th-century stone cottage for four in the valley settlement of Little Petherick. It stands on the Saints Way long-distance path, 3 miles from Padstow, and sleeps four across two upstairs bedrooms.

One double bedroom and one super-king-size zip-and-link room share a single bathroom. The zip-and-link can be arranged as twins. Downstairs, a wood burner sits in the open-plan lounge and dining room, and the fitted kitchen leads to an enclosed walled courtyard. Steps lead up from the road to the front door, and upstairs a dressing room leads through to the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are provided, and up to two dogs are welcome.

The flat, traffic-free Camel Trail between Wadebridge and Padstow passes close to the hamlet, and Padstow's harbour is 3 miles away by road. Trevone Bay is 2.9 miles from the cottage, followed by Harlyn Bay Beach at 3.4 miles and Daymer Bay at 3.5 miles. The Little Petherick guide covers the village and surrounding area.

**Best for:** walkers, cyclists or a small family wanting flexible beds and a courtyard. **Less good for:** guests needing step-free accommodation or a beach within walking distance.
