Creekside house, Little Petherick

Beside the water at Little Petherick, this two-storey house sleeps four in two bedrooms. Upstairs, the double has a balcony overlooking the creek and the second room is a small double. A shower room on the first floor has a walk-in shower, while the ground-floor bathroom has a bath with shower over.

The ground floor is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker, and the sitting area has a Smart TV, a music player and WiFi. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Outside, a non-enclosed decking area faces the creek and comes with furniture and a barbecue. A ladder gives access down to the creek. Parking is off-road for one car. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a pet charge payable per pet per stay, and there is no smoking in the house.

The house has a spiral staircase, which may not suit anyone with limited mobility. The pub is 0.8 miles away and the shop 2.4 miles. The house suits a couple or a small family with dogs; the spiral stairs and single parking space make it less good for a party bringing two cars.
