Fox Corner Petherick

Fox Corner Petherick is a renovated traditional cottage for four in Little Petherick, a hamlet two miles south of Padstow. A king-size bedroom and a twin give families or two friends separate sleeping space, sharing one bathroom.

The cottage combines modern interiors with a wood burner, and an enclosed private patio provides outdoor space of its own. WiFi, parking and a dishwasher are included, along with a garden, and up to two dogs can stay. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The Camel Trail, the flat traffic-free cycling and walking path between Wadebridge and Padstow, is accessible from the hamlet. Trevone Bay, a family beach with a natural blowhole in its cliffs, is 2.7 miles away. Harlyn Bay is 3.3 miles and welcomes dogs year-round with no seasonal restriction, while Daymer Bay is 3.5 miles, a sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Camel. Padstow itself is a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk.

**Best for:** Four guests wanting a wood burner, private patio, Camel Trail access and a choice of north coast beaches by car.

**Less good for:** Guests needing two bathrooms, step-free access or a beach within walking distance.
