Inside there are four bedrooms across three bathrooms, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space at the heart of the house. The lounge has an open fire, the kitchen comes with dishwasher and washing machine, and there is accessible ground-floor living. Wifi runs throughout. With sleeps 8 at a peak rate of GBP 3,800/week, that works out at around GBP 68pp/night at full occupancy.

The terrace hot tub faces south across the Channel, and the garden is enclosed for dogs. Off-road parking includes an EV charge point - one of the few properties in Downderry to offer one. Downderry beach, The Inn on the Shore pub, and the South West Coast Path are all within walking distance.

Downderry's south-facing beach stays calm enough for swimming and rarely fills even at peak summer. The coast path east runs 3 miles to Portwrinkle and Whitsand Bay; west via Seaton beach to Looe (5 miles). Plymouth is around 30 minutes via the Tamar Bridge. Best for a multi-generation group or two families splitting the price; less good if you need a ground-floor master.
