Seahaze is a 4-bedroom reverse-level house in Downderry, sleeping 8 across 3 bathrooms with sea views from the upper living level. Reverse-level design means the kitchen and living space sit above the bedrooms, which in practice makes the views the first thing you see each morning rather than the last.

Downderry Beach is 0.6km from the door - a quiet, south-facing beach with calm water that is sheltered from the prevailing swell that hits the north coast. Plaidy Beach near Looe is 5.5km for another calm-water option, and Whitsand Bay is 6.3km for a longer stretch with more surf.

The garden and BBQ work well for families eating outside in summer. Parking is included. No pets. Saturday changeovers only.

The village of Downderry itself is small - a shop, a pub, and the beach. Looe is 8km east for a wider range of restaurants, a fish market, and boat trips. The surrounding coast path gives good walking in either direction.

Best for a family group who want sea views and easy beach access without the crowds of Polzeath or Perranporth. Less good for guests wanting nightlife or entertainment within walking distance - this is a quiet village and that is its main selling point.
