Three bedrooms and two bathrooms give a reasonable amount of space for two small families or a group of six. Port Gaverne Beach is 600 metres along the lane from the village - a sheltered cove with calm water, regularly used for swimming and kayaking. Port Isaac harbour, with its working fishing boats and the cluster of seafood restaurants and pubs along the quay, is directly below on the Fore Street hill. The South West Coast Path runs through the village, connecting north toward Tintagel (4 miles) and south toward Polzeath (6 miles).

Best for couples or families who want a village-centre base with sea views and easy access to the harbour without driving. Less suited to large groups.
