The layout is open-plan, with the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area sharing a single space. An electric fire provides warmth, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and a fridge with ice box. There is no dishwasher or washing machine, so this suits shorter breaks rather than extended stays. The double bedroom has a TV, and there is a separate twin room. One bathroom serves the property, with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Wi-Fi is available, though the signal can be unreliable. Bed linen and towels are included.

The Looe Valley Line railway runs from Liskeard station through wooded valleys to the harbour at Looe - a 30-minute trip and one of Cornwall's most enjoyable branch lines. Saturday changeovers apply, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
