The layout is open-plan, with the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area sharing a single space. An electric fire provides warmth, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, and a fridge with ice box. There is no dishwasher or washing machine, so this suits shorter breaks rather than extended stays. The double bedroom has a TV, and there is a separate twin room. One bathroom serves the property, with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Wi-Fi is available, though the signal can be unreliable. Bed linen and towels are included.

The garden has a lawn, patio, and picnic bench. Off-road parking is allocated for one car, with a second space available if needed. A pub sits just 0.2 miles away, and the nearest shop is 1.2 miles.

Liskeard is a historic stannary town with a weekly farmers' market and the Stuart House museum. Plaidy Beach is the nearest coast at 8.3 miles, with East Looe Beach at 8.7 miles. The Looe Valley Line railway runs from Liskeard station through wooded valleys to the harbour at Looe - a 30-minute trip and one of Cornwall's most enjoyable branch lines. Saturday changeovers apply, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.
