Brook Cottage

Brook Cottage is a detached ground-floor bungalow on the Rosecraddoc Lodge estate near Liskeard in east Cornwall. The single-level layout makes it accessible throughout, sleeping four in one double and one twin bedroom.

The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space, and sitting area, where an electric coal-effect fire provides warmth. The bathroom has a shower, basin, and WC. The kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer. A selection of books, games, and DVDs is provided for quieter days. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

A patio with outdoor furniture sits at the front, and off-road parking is available for one car. The nearest coast is Plaidy Beach, a sheltered sand-and-shingle beach near Looe with rock pooling, at 13.3km. East Looe Beach, a sandy beach beside the town's fishing harbour with cafes and restaurants, is 14km.

Liskeard is a market town on the main Great Western rail line, with direct trains from London Paddington and Plymouth. The Looe Valley Line runs from Liskeard station through wooded valleys to the coast - a 30-minute scenic branch-line journey. Looe itself is 8 miles south by road, and the Eden Project is roughly 15 miles west.
