Rinsey Cove and the Wheal Prosper engine houses are 1.9 miles west along the coast path. St Michael's Mount is 4 miles west across the bay, and Penzance is 6 miles on for the Scilly ferry and the London train.

Best for a family or two couples with a dog wanting a wood burner, sea views and a quiet stone-cottage stay near the beach. Less good for groups of six needing more than one bathroom, or guests who require wifi for work.
