A converted barn in Germoe, sitting in the south-facing farmland above Mount’s Bay, sleeping 6 across 3 bedrooms. Part of a complex of four properties, the cottage has original beams and wooden floors and looks out over open countryside toward the coast - the bedroom configuration is 1 super-king, 1 king, and 1 twin.

The layout works well for two couples or a family. One bathroom serves all three bedrooms, so it’s worth noting the shared access. Outside, a patio with BBQ and seating faces the views. Dogs are welcome (1 dog max) and the farmland around the complex allows walks from the front door. WiFi, dishwasher, parking, and EV charging are all included.

Praa Sands is about 2 miles south - a broad beach facing the Atlantic with strong surf, RNLI lifeguards in season, and parking at the beach. Prussia Cove, a quieter cove popular with snorkellers, is about 2.2 miles. Tregonning Hill, directly behind Germoe, rises to around 600 feet and gives wide views across Mount’s Bay on a clear day. Marazion and St Michael’s Mount are about 5 miles east; the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is around 12 miles.

Best for active groups who want a quiet base in West Cornwall without the summer congestion of the coastal villages. Less suited to those who need easy beach access without a drive.
