Beech

Beech is an all-ground-floor lodge at Killiow Golf Course near Truro, sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite walk-in shower. The property is fully accessible and comes with a woodburner in the open-plan living area.

All 3 bedrooms have super king-size zip-link beds that convert to twins on request. The open-plan space combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. Equipment includes electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a 4K Smart TV. Bath robes are supplied alongside bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are available on advance request.

Off-road parking is provided. An enclosed decked area with furniture wraps around the lodge. Pendower Beach on the Roseland is 9.9km away - a sandy beach stretching over a mile at low tide on Gerrans Bay with calm, safe water and very few crowds. St Mawes, on the Roseland opposite Falmouth with Henry VIII's well-preserved castle, is 10.2km distant.

Truro, Cornwall's only city, is a short drive north. The Gothic Revival cathedral, completed in 1910, dominates the skyline. The indoor Pannier Market and independent shops along Lemon Street are within the city centre, and a ferry connects Truro's tidal riverfront to Falmouth. The nearest shop is 1 mile from the lodge, with a pub 2 miles away. Pets are not permitted.
