Bell Cottage

Bell Cottage is a 3-bedroom attached holiday home at Kenegie Manor in Gulval, on the outskirts of Penzance. Part of a converted barn complex, the property shares access to a heated swimming pool and bar, both open from February to October.

The ground floor has a sitting room with a 40-inch Smart TV and a kitchen-diner equipped with an electric oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms - 1 king, 1 twin, and 1 single - sleep up to 5 guests. A family bathroom has a bath with shower over, heated towel rail, and heated mirror. The cottage is wheelchair accessible.

Two patios with garden furniture sit outside, and off-road parking is ample. One dog is welcome free of charge. Eastern Green Beach, a family-friendly sandy beach with calm water and views across Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount, is 0.8 miles away. Long Rock Beach, a sand-and-shingle stretch between Penzance and Marazion, is 1.2 miles further along the coast.

Penzance town centre is a short drive or bus ride away, with the Art Deco Jubilee Pool lido, Chapel Street's galleries, and the ferry terminal for the Isles of Scilly. Newlyn's working fishing harbour is a mile to the south-west, and Mousehole is reachable by bus in about 15 minutes.

Best for a family travelling with a dog and someone needing accessible features, given the step-free elements and pool access here. Less suited to longer stays, since there is no washing machine on site.
