The Georgian Flat

The Georgian Flat is a lower-ground-floor apartment within a row of six Georgian houses on a quiet private road in Penzance. It sleeps five across three bedrooms, two with king-size beds and a third cabin-style room with a four-foot double, plus two bathrooms, one ensuite.

The apartment has a wood burner, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a private terrace and a shared communal garden. A built-in desk in the hallway suits guests who need to work during their stay, and period features sit alongside contemporary furnishings throughout. One parking space is included. Dogs are not accepted, and nor are other pets.

The independent shops of Causeway Head, including a bakery and deli, are a couple of minutes' walk away, and it's a ten-minute walk to the Jubilee Pool and Penlee Park with its art gallery and outdoor theatre. St Michael's Mount is a fifteen-minute drive or a three-mile walk along the coast path. Land's End and the Minack Theatre are around 25 minutes by road, and St Ives and the Tate are 20 minutes away.

Best for couples or small families wanting a period apartment close to Penzance's shops and the Jubilee Pool. Less good for larger groups, since the third bedroom is a compact cabin room built for one.
