Bod A Quinte

Bod A Quinte is a single-storey cottage in Carbis Bay, 300 metres from the Blue Flag beach and a mile from St Ives. The property sleeps four in two bedrooms and sits close to the South West Coast Path.

Inside, a double and a twin bedroom share a walk-in shower room with heated towel rail. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen-diner is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. Smart TV and WiFi are provided, and fuel and power are included. Calor gas central heating keeps the cottage warm outside summer.

The front garden has a lawn, while the enclosed rear garden has lawn and outdoor furniture. Off-road parking fits two cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. A pub is 0.1 miles away and a shop 0.2 miles - useful for day-to-day supplies without needing the car.

Carbis Bay beach, a 500-metre arc of pale sand with seasonal lifeguard cover and kayak hire, is a 5-minute walk downhill. Porthkidney Beach, a wide dune-backed strand popular with birdwatchers, lies 1.1 miles along the coast. St Ives is reachable on foot in 25 minutes via the coast path, or one stop on the St Ives Bay Line from the Carbis Bay halt. The branch line connects to mainline services at St Erth in 12 minutes.
