Bosulla Shepherds Hut

Bosulla Shepherds Hut is a one-bedroom hut near the village of Madron, inland between Penzance and the west Cornwall coast, sleeping 2. It has a wood-fired hot tub and an open fire inside. This is deliberate. Changeover is Saturday.

One bedroom, one bathroom, a garden, and off-road parking. The open fire and an electric heater provide the warmth, and the hot tub sits outdoors in the garden. Everything is in one room - king-size bed, kitchen with an electric oven, hob and fridge with an ice box, dining area and sitting area - with a separate shower room. Access is by rural steps on the approach, then four steps up into the hut, and a covered wooden seating area stands outside. The hut suits two people who want to disconnect; it is not a practical base for a group or a family.

Penzance is about 4 miles southeast. Madron Well - an ancient healing well used since at least the 16th century - is within the parish, set in a strip of old woodland. Eastern Green Beach is 3.4 miles south of the hut. Marazion, with St Michael's Mount directly offshore, is 5.3 miles. St Just and Cape Cornwall are a short drive to the west. Long Rock Beach is the nearest beach, about 4 miles away as the crow flies. Marazion Beach is about 5.3 miles away.

Less good for anyone who needs connectivity or wants a coastal base rather than a rural one.
