Bridge House is a stone-built apartment on Creeping Lane in Newlyn, Cornwall's busiest fishing port. Set over two floors and sleeping six across three bedrooms, the property has sea views from the upper level and welcomes dogs.

The ground floor has flagstone flooring and exposed ceiling beams. A living room sits alongside a large dining room with a window seat, and a separate kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi is included. Three bedrooms and a family bathroom occupy the first floor.

A garden and walled courtyard offer outdoor space with storage for beach gear, wetsuits, and bikes. Mousehole Beach - a sheltered harbour cove with calm, clear water - is 1.7 miles south along the coast path. Eastern Green Beach, a dog-friendly sandy stretch with views of St Michael's Mount, is 1.9 miles north near Penzance.

The seafront is a two-minute walk downhill. Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar sits across the road, and the Tolcarne Inn is a short walk along the sea wall. Jelbert's, making ice cream in Newlyn since 1938, is nearby. A flat promenade and cycle path connects to Penzance in 10 minutes on foot, where Penlee House Gallery holds the largest collection of Newlyn School paintings. Penzance station provides mainline rail connections, and the Isles of Scilly ferry departs from the harbour a mile east.

Best for a dog-owning couple or family wanting to be close to the water, thanks to the sea views, walled courtyard and storage for wetsuits and bikes. Less good for guests wanting a modern finish, as the ground floor keeps its flagstone flooring and exposed beams.
