Chi an Vre is a four-bedroom cottage on Chyvellas Close in Newlyn, the working fishing port that sits on Penzance's western edge. The property accommodates up to 6 guests across two floors, with allocated off-road parking for one car and additional street parking.

Inside, the ground floor has a kitchen, utility room, and a living/dining room warmed by a gas fire. A sunroom opens off the main living space. Upstairs, the king-size master bedroom has a Juliet balcony, and a second king-size, a twin, and a single room complete the sleeping arrangements. There is one shower room and a ground-floor cloakroom. A piano in the living area is a distinctive touch, alongside WiFi, a TV, and a selection of board games and books.

The rear garden is enclosed with lawn and outdoor furniture. Mousehole Beach - a sheltered harbour cove with calm water - is 1.4 miles south, and Eastern Green Beach near Penzance is 2.4 miles to the northeast. Both are within a short drive.

Newlyn's fish market operates most weekday mornings, and the Tolcarne Inn and Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar are within walking distance. Penzance is connected by a continuous promenade and cycle path, and mainline rail services run from Penzance station, roughly a mile east.

Best for a group of up to six splitting four bedrooms within walking distance of Newlyn's harbourside pubs. Less good for guests wanting more than one bathroom - there is a single shower room and a ground-floor cloakroom for the whole group.
