Butterwell

Butterwell is a two-bedroom barn conversion for four in St Breward, a village on the western slopes of Bodmin Moor at about 700 feet. One bedroom has a king bed, and the other uses zip-link beds that convert to twins on request. Both rooms share one bathroom, on the ground floor along with the bedroom, which helps guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Wide-reaching views stretch towards Bodmin Moor from a secluded, countryside setting recognised as a designated Dark Sky area - useful for stargazing away from light pollution. A wood burner, garden and BBQ are the leisure features. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine and EV charging are included, but dogs are not accepted.

The Camel Trail, the flat cycling and walking route that follows the old railway line, is half a mile away, and the property is recognised as a Cycle Friendly Place by Cycling UK. Rough Tor, on the open moor, is about 2 miles east. The nearest beaches are a drive rather than a walk: Tregardock Beach is 5.7 miles away, Port Gaverne is 6 miles away and Bossiney Cove is 8.3 miles from the barn.
