Cameo

Cameo is a single-storey farm cottage on the Atlantic Highway near Bude, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The super-king bedroom has an en-suite, and the twin room shares access to a second bathroom - a layout that works well for two couples or a family with older children. A separate sitting room and kitchen-diner provide space to spread out, and both bedrooms have heated towel rails. Patio doors lead to an enclosed area with BBQ and seating.

Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome, but they must not be left alone inside the cottage. The cottage is single-storey, but there are steps up to the super-king bedroom. Wifi, dishwasher, and parking for one car are included in the let.

Summerleaze Beach is 1.7 miles away - a broad sandy beach with a seawater tidal pool that stays swimmable at all stages of the tide. Crooklets Beach is a similar distance and suits stronger surfers, while Widemouth Bay at 2.2 miles is one of the most reliable surf breaks on the north Cornwall coast. Bude town itself has independent shops, a canal, and a good selection of restaurants.

Ideal for two couples or a family who want to bring a dog and use north Cornwall surf beaches without being in the town. Less suitable for anyone wanting evening dining and nightlife within walking distance. Friday changeover.
