Cape Cornwall Pod with vast sea views

This ground-floor pod sits near Cape Cornwall - the only cape in England - with sea views across to the Brisons rocks and the open Atlantic. The address is Chyvounder, just outside St Just, the most westerly town in mainland England. A garden, patio and terrace make the most of the coastal outlook.

The pod has one bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette fitted with a refrigerator, stovetop, toaster, microwave and kitchenware. A sofa bed, dining table, work desk and TV complete the living space. Free on-site parking is included.

Porthnanven Beach - known locally as "The Cot" - is an 18-minute walk away. The coast path from Cape Cornwall runs south past Botallack and the Crowns engine houses, part of the UNESCO Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site. This stretch of cliff-face mining remains is among the most dramatic in Cornwall, particularly in late afternoon light. Geevor Tin Mine and Levant Mine, both open to visitors, are within a few miles north.

St Just's market square has independent shops and two pubs. Land's End Airport is 2.5 miles away. The Minack Theatre is about 8.7 miles south along the coast, and St Michael's Mount roughly 11.8 miles east.
