Lulla Lodge

Lulla Lodge is a contemporary detached lodge in Boscaswell Village, Pendeen, sleeping four across one bedroom and a sofa bed. The first-floor double has a freestanding bath, which is an uncommon feature at this price point in west Cornwall. Downstairs is open-plan: living area, dining space, kitchen, and a separate shower room - a practical layout for two couples or a family with older children.

The enclosed garden has a patio with space for outdoor dining, and off-road parking for two cars. Wi-Fi and a washing machine are included. No hot tub or wood burner, but the south-facing orientation captures the long Penwith evenings well into autumn. Pendeen has a pub and a small shop within walking distance. Geevor Tin Mine Museum - the largest surviving tin mining complex in the UK - and Pendeen Lighthouse are both under a mile from the lodge. Priests Cove, a rocky inlet below Cape Cornwall, is 4.1km south-west and worth the short drive for a swim at low tide. Sennen Cove, with its wide Atlantic beach and beach café, is 9.2km south. The South West Coast Path runs directly through this stretch of coastline, giving access to some of the most dramatic cliff walking in Cornwall without needing a car.

Best for two couples or a small group who want to use west Cornwall as a base for walking, tin mining heritage, and cape-to-cape coastal exploration. Less good for those who need immediate beach access from the door, sea views, or a dog-friendly property.
