Carrick Cottage

Carrick Cottage is in the Pendra Loweth holiday village at Goldenbank, 2.5 miles from Falmouth. It has two double bedrooms and sleeps three. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a heated towel rail, and a downstairs cloakroom adds a second WC.

The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, with a washing machine, Smart TV and WiFi. Wall-mounted electric heaters warm the rooms, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A cot and high chair are available.

The rear garden has a patio, lawn and furniture, with access to extensive communal gardens. One numbered off-road space is reserved for the cottage, with more parking on site. A shop and bar are 0.3 miles away, the pub is a mile off and the beach is 1.2 miles. Nearby facilities include a play area, indoor soft play, a gym, tennis courts and a plunge pool and Jacuzzi, with seasonal opening times.

No pets are allowed, though the owners' own dog is at the property on occasion, which matters for anyone with severe allergies. Smoking is not allowed, and commercial or worker bookings are not accepted. A fast-flowing, unfenced stream runs through the site, so take care. Sign-written vans and commercial vehicles are not permitted on the site. It suits a small family or a couple wanting space.
