Chapel Cottage

Chapel Cottage stands in the middle of Mevagissey, so the shop and the pub are each about 0.1 mile away and the coast is 0.2 miles. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double, a twin, and a bunk room with a TV. The bunk beds are for children only.

The house has a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. WiFi is free, and a Smart TV with Netflix sits in the living room and in the bunk room. Central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included. The one bathroom is a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. A highchair and a cot are available.

Cars can pull up at a drop-off area outside, and nearby car parks include Sunny Corner and Willow, a minute away. Weekly permits for the local car parks are sold separately. Outside is an enclosed area where guests can store kayaks, rinse sandy clothes or let the dog out at night.

Two small to medium well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please have them treated for fleas before arrival, as the owner may pass on the cost of pest treatment if an infestation follows. No smoking, and a good housekeeping bond is held. The layout suits a family of up to six, or friends sharing; it is less good for anyone arriving with a lot of luggage and a car, since parking is away from the door.
