Chapel Park

Chapel Park spreads over two floors on Whalesborough Resort and Spa, in the village of Marhamchurch, 2.5 miles from Bude. It sleeps four, with a king-size bedroom and a twin, and the king-size en-suite includes a whirlpool bath as well as a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The twin bedroom has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, so nobody shares. Both bedrooms have TVs. A cloakroom with basin and WC is on the ground floor, and there is underfloor heating.

The living space is open-plan, with the kitchen, dining area and a sitting area that has a woodburning stove. The kitchen offers a double electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, with a washing machine, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

The enclosed garden comes with furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue area. Designated parking is near the property, and the on-site car park has additional space. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and a pet charge is applied per pet per night. Smoking is not allowed. Cot and highchair are available on request. Resort guests can use the indoor and outdoor heated pools and the sauna.

The lodge is best for two couples or friends who each want a private bathroom. The two-storey layout makes it less good for anyone who prefers a single-level stay.
