Chapelporth is a three-storey 3-bedroom cottage on a 72-acre resort near St Ives, sleeping 6 across a king-size master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and an en-suite shower room, a double with a private balcony, and a twin. Guests have access to the resort's outdoor pool, tennis courts, golf course and spa at no extra charge.

Carbis Bay is 0.6 miles from the resort on foot - a south-facing sandy beach sheltered from westerly winds and one of the more family-friendly options in the St Ives area. Porthminster Beach is also about 0.6 miles away, and St Ives harbour beach is 0.7 miles. The town centre, where Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are located, is under a mile through the resort grounds and surrounding streets. St Michael's Mount is around 8 miles to the south.

The property is not dog-friendly. Parking is available on-site. WiFi, dishwasher and washing machine are all included.

This is good for two families or a group of 6 who want beach access combined with on-site facilities to keep all ages occupied. Three bedrooms and a resort setting with pool and courts make it a strong option for a summer week with children. Less good for couples looking for a quiet, simple stay - the resort layout and facilities cater more to families and active groups. The lack of dog-friendly policy means it will not suit those travelling with pets.
