Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge sits in a small hamlet 2 miles from the village of Lanivet, and it sleeps four in two bedrooms with two bathrooms. An L-shaped veranda with furniture overlooks a patio and a garden, and everything is on the ground floor.

The main bedroom has a king-size double bed with its own en suite shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom is a twin, and the beds are a zip-and-link pair that can be made into a super king-size on request. The separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a WC. In the open plan living area, the kitchen has an electric cooker, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washer dryer and a dishwasher, and there are dining and sitting areas, a Smart TV, a DVD player, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Electric wall heaters provide heating. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and guests should bring beach towels. A travel cot and highchair can be provided.

A newly added play area is for children aged 10 and under, and the paddock has nearly two acres for ball games, kite flying and picnics. Off-road parking takes two cars. The nearest shop and pub are 2 miles away, and Bodmin lies 5 miles from Lanivet.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Changeover falls on a Saturday, and school holidays are booked in 7-night blocks. Short breaks run Saturday to Saturday until 2027, when changeover moves to Friday. Cherry Lodge is one of six lodges on the site that can be booked together, sleeping 21. It suits two couples or a family, with an en suite for one couple and a separate bathroom for the other.
