Chez Nous

Chez Nous is a single-storey cottage at Trevella Park in Crantock, sleeping up to six with a sofa bed in the open-plan living space. The property sits 1.2 miles from Crantock Beach - a broad, dune-backed sandy beach managed by the National Trust - and the same distance from Fistral Beach.

The cottage has two bedrooms: a double with en-suite walk-in shower and a twin. A second shower room serves the rest of the property. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. WiFi is included throughout.

A private wraparound deck with outdoor furniture provides an outside sitting area. Off-road parking for two cars is on site. Crantock Beach has RNLI lifeguard cover in season, rock pools at low tide and kayaking on the Gannel estuary behind the beach. Fistral Beach, 1.2 miles away, is one of the UK's most consistent surf breaks. Two dogs are welcome.

Crantock village has a 13th-century church, the Old Albion pub and a small shop. The atmosphere is noticeably quieter than Newquay, which is 2 miles northeast across the Gannel. Newquay Zoo, the aquarium and the town's restaurants are all accessible within a short drive.
