Crantock village has a 13th-century church, a village green, and the Old Albion pub - one of several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, alongside the Cornishman and C-Bay Cafe. The village sits 2 miles southwest of Newquay, connected at low tide by the Gannel foot ferry. Newquay itself has a wider range of shops, restaurants, a zoo and an aquarium. The National Trust headland at West Pentire provides walks with views over the beach and estuary.
