Chy Fistral

The top floor of Chy Fistral is given over to a king-size bedroom with its own balcony, a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room. The contemporary townhouse spreads over three floors in central Newquay and sleeps seven. The beach is 0.7 miles away, the shop 0.2 miles and the pub 0.4 miles.

The first floor has a double bedroom and a bunk room, where the bunks are a double and a single, next to the family bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. A cloakroom with a basin and WC is also part of the house. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area has two 43-inch Smart TVs, WiFi, books, games and DVDs. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are included.

The enclosed rear garden has a furniture set and a barbecue, plus an outdoor shower for after the beach. A designated parking space for 1 car sits at the back and leads straight into the garden. Dogs are welcome downstairs only, so check with the owners how many are allowed before you book. Children need supervising at all times because of the balcony. No hen or stag parties or similar groups are accepted. Stays are a minimum of 3 nights, and in July and August bookings are for 7 days only. The house is non-smoking.

It is best for a group or family of up to seven who are happy with stairs, and less good for toddlers, given the three floors and the balcony.
