Chy Pol

Chy Pol is a single-storey cottage at Lower Treglyn near St Minver, a village about a mile inland from Rock on the Camel Estuary. The property sits in a quiet rural setting, away from the tighter streets of the coastal villages, with an enclosed courtyard and a separate grass area.

Two bedrooms sleep up to four: a king-size with Smart TV and a bunk room. A shower room with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and WC serves the property. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a woodburning stove as a focal point. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Two Smart TVs and Wi-Fi are available throughout.

Outside, the enclosed courtyard has furniture and a barbecue. Off-road parking accommodates two cars. Daymer Bay Beach - a sheltered estuary beach with calm, shallow water - is 2.9 miles away. Greenaway Beach, a quieter sandy cove with rock pools, and Polzeath Beach are both about 3.1 miles distant. Two dogs are welcome.

St Minver connects easily to Rock (1 mile), Polzeath (2 miles), and Wadebridge (3 miles), where the Camel Trail begins. Padstow is accessible by water taxi from Rock, and Port Isaac is roughly 8 miles north along the coast.

Best for a couple or family bringing up to two dogs who want a single-storey rural base with a woodburning stove. Less good for anyone needing more than one bathroom, since there's only one for four guests.
