The location is the point. Daymer Bay - the sheltered family beach with views to Stepper Point - is 1.7 miles away. Polzeath takes the surf and the surf schools 2.1 miles north. Rock is two miles west: the foot ferry to Padstow runs every 20 minutes in season, dropping you on the harbour for the Stein restaurants, Padstow Brewing Co, and the start of the Camel Trail's 18-mile former-railway path to Bodmin. St Enodoc Church and Golf Course sit in the dunes between Rock and Daymer. Greenaway Beach is 1.9 miles from the cottage, and dogs are not accepted.
Best for a small family who want sheltered estuary beaches and easy ferry access to Padstow. Less good for groups needing two bathrooms or a dog-friendly base.
