Chynoweth House is a three-bedroom property in Cubert, a small village set back from the coast between Holywell Bay and Crantock. The house sleeps six and sits on Wesley Road, with a shop just 0.1 miles away and the Smugglers' Den Inn pub 0.9 miles down the road.

A king-size double bedroom has an en-suite, with a second double and a twin room completing the sleeping arrangements. A ground-floor WC, kitchen-diner, and sitting room make up the main living spaces. The kitchen has a cooker with electric oven and hob plus a fridge-freezer. A Smart TV and WiFi are included, along with central heating throughout.

Enclosed gardens surround the property on all sides, with garden furniture for outdoor meals. Ample off-road parking removes the need to compete for coastal car park spaces in summer - a genuine advantage when nearby beaches fill up early.

Holywell Bay (1.7 miles) is a mile-long stretch of dune-backed sand with Gull Rocks sea stacks, RNLI lifeguards in summer, and year-round dog access. Porth Joke (1.8 miles) - also called Polly Joke - is a car-free cove reached on foot across fields, far quieter than its neighbours. Crantock Beach (1.9 miles) is just beyond. Cubert sits 3 miles south of Newquay, within easy reach of the town's surf beaches and amenities without the traffic and noise.

Best for a family or group of six filling all three bedrooms who want a quiet village base with their own parking rather than a beachfront spot. Less good for anyone wanting to walk straight to the sand - the nearest beach is reached along country lanes, and Porth Joke is reached on foot across fields.
