Cliff House

Cliff House is a B&B on Fore Street in central Newquay, the main commercial street that runs through the town centre toward the cliffs. The position puts the property within 300m of Towan Beach - a wide, family-oriented bay directly below the town - and 800m from Great Western Beach.

Rooms have sea views over the Atlantic, and WiFi is included throughout. Breakfast is locally sourced and served each morning. The building has been renovated and positioned at the upper end of the B&B market for Newquay, with attention given to the room fit-out and breakfast quality.

Fistral Beach is 900 metres west via the headland road - walkable in around 12 minutes. Fistral is Newquay's surf beach and hosts Boardmasters festival in August, when the town fills significantly. Great Western Beach at 800 metres is a sheltered, sandy bay popular with families and calmer for swimming. Towan Beach at 300m has lifeguard cover in season and direct access from the town centre.

No private parking is available - the nearest car parks are a short walk away on Cliff Road. Newquay has a rail station (branch line from Par) and summer bus connections to other north coast beaches.

Best for couples and solo travellers wanting a central town base with sea views and no need to drive to the main beaches. Less good for families requiring a car parking space or those who need self-catering facilities.
