Cove Cottage Sennen

Cove Cottage is a three-bedroom stone cottage in Sennen Cove, 200 metres from the beach by foot. Exposed stone walls and wooden beams are original to the building, and the open-plan ground floor has both a wood burner and an open fire. The cottage sleeps 6 in a king, a double, and a twin, and all three bedrooms face the harbour. The family bathroom has a roll-top bath and separate shower. Dogs welcome; BBQ and rear garden included.

A boot room at the entrance provides storage for wetsuits, boots, and sandy gear - useful given Sennen Cove is 200 metres away. One of Cornwall’s most westerly surf beaches, Sennen stretches for nearly a mile and has RNLI lifeguard cover from Easter to November. Two surf schools operate from the beach and a surf shop sits above the sand. Gwynver Beach is about 1.1 miles north along the coast path.

Land’s End is 1.5 miles south along the South West Coast Path, which passes directly through Sennen Cove. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is 5 miles east, Cape Cornwall 6.5 miles north. Best for: Surf families, walkers, and groups who want direct coast path access with Land’s End and Minack Theatre day trips easy from the door. Less good for: Those wanting full connectivity - signal can be patchy this far west, and the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute drive.
