Pilchard Cottage

Pilchard Cottage is a 3-bedroom house spread across four floors in Sennen Cove, sleeping six with three bathrooms and an enclosed garden. At 300m from the beach, it's one of the closest properties to Sennen Cove's main surf break - the most westerly lifeguarded beach in England, with consistent Atlantic swell from September through November.

The house has parking for one car, wifi, and a dishwasher. Three bathrooms across three bedrooms makes the layout work for two families or a group of six without sharing. The enclosed garden adds outdoor space without wind exposure, which matters at Sennen. No pets.

Gwynver Beach is 1.1 miles south along the coast path near Sennen - a quieter stretch of sand that catches fewer day trippers. Nanjizal Beach, a secluded cove with a natural rock arch, is 1.7 miles. Land's End is under 1.2 miles, and Penzance is 8.7 miles east along the A30.

The Sennen Cove beach cafe and the Old Success Inn are both a short walk from the house. The village has a small surf school operating through the season, and board hire is available on the beach.

Best for surf-focused groups and families who want immediate beach access without driving to it. Less good for anyone needing more than one parking space or travelling with dogs.
