Cres is a three-bedroom cottage on Molesworth Street in Tintagel, within 100 metres of village shops and 200 metres from the King Arthur's Arms Inn. The property sleeps six across two double bedrooms and a single with trundle bed, all served by a walk-in shower room and a separate cloakroom.

The open-plan kitchen and living-dining room is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, smart TV, and WiFi. Central heating runs throughout. An enclosed courtyard provides private outdoor space, and off-road parking fits one car. Pets are not accepted.

Bossiney Cove is about 900 metres away - a sandy cove accessible at low tide, known for turquoise water and a natural rock arch called Elephant Rock. Tregardock Beach, a remote stretch with powerful surf, lies 2.7 miles south. The South West Coast Path connects the village to Rocky Valley, where rock-carved labyrinths thought to be 3,000 years old are carved into the gorge walls, and to St Nectan's Glen with its 60-foot waterfall (entry £10 adults). Tintagel Castle itself is a short walk from the door - adult entry is £14.80 (15% off when booked online).

**Best for:** Groups of six wanting a village-centre base in Arthur country, with easy access to the castle, coast path, and a sandy low-tide cove on foot. **Less good for:** Families with dogs (not accepted), those wanting sea views, or guests needing step-free access.
