The building sits on the headland where the Cribbar wave breaks in heavy winter swells - a reference point that surfers will recognise immediately. Dogs are welcome.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite with bath and shower. The second bedroom is a twin. The kitchen-diner runs open-plan into the sitting area and includes a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, and dishwasher. Three TVs with Freeview and WiFi throughout. A furnished balcony provides outdoor seating. Off-road parking for one car comes with a permit to display.

Crantock Beach - wide, dune-backed, with RNLI lifeguard cover from May to September - is 800 metres from the building. Fistral Beach, the surf beach that hosts Boardmasters each August, is 900 metres to the east. Newquay harbour and town centre are a further short walk past the 18-hole golf course.

Best for families or groups of up to six with a dog, who want two surf beaches on foot and the Pentire headland walks from the door. Less good for anyone needing a garden - there is none - or expecting sea views from the apartment itself.
