Curlews Cottage

Curlews Cottage is a three-storey townhouse on Middle Market Street in Looe, 100m from East Looe Beach. Three bedrooms spread across three floors sleep six, with two bathrooms and a utility room. The ground floor has open-plan living with an electric stove. Dog-friendly, with parking nearby. Friday changeover.

Each floor gives the cottage a clear vertical division - ground floor living, middle floor bedrooms, top floor further sleeping space - which suits families where adults and children want separate levels. Wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included. A cot and highchair are available, and a pub and shop are within a mile of the cottage. Dogs are welcome throughout. Stays are booked by the week, and the two bathrooms are shared between the six guests across the three floors.

East Looe Beach is a minute's walk. Hannafore Beach, a quieter west-facing stretch across the estuary, is 900 metres. Plaidy Beach, a more sheltered cove, is 0.7 miles along the coastal path. The town's fish restaurants, shops, and the small aquarium are all within a short walk from the front door. Looe is also on a branch rail line from Liskeard - useful if arriving without a car.
