Cynibre is a contemporary three-bedroom house in St Levan, sleeping six, around 500 metres on foot from the Minack Theatre. The one-bathroom-per-bedroom arrangement - three en-suite rooms across two floors - makes it genuinely practical for two couples plus a third pair, without the usual queuing that plagues shared houses.

The ground floor runs open-plan across kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a newly landscaped private garden at the rear looking out over fields. Up to four dogs are welcome - towels and bowls are supplied - and on-site parking is important here: the lanes around St Levan are single-track and roadside spaces along the Minack approach road are gone well before curtain-up. Porthcurno is 1.4km on foot - white shell sand, clear water, and one of the better-known beaches in west Cornwall. Pedn Vounder sits a further 500 metres along the coast path: a steep scramble down, often quieter than Porthcurno, and accessible only around low tide. Land's End is roughly 2.5 miles west; Penzance is under 7 miles east for trains and evening dining options.

Best for groups of six who want Minack evening performances without a long drive back, or two or three couples sharing with dogs. Less good for guests who need step-free access - the house has an upstairs floor - or a sea view from indoors.
