Harbour days from a cottage near Par
DeCressy Apartment is a one-bedroom ground-floor flat within Penarwyn House, a period building set in shared grounds at St Blazey, near Par. It sleeps 2 adults and comes with off-road parking and a private bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath as the main feature. Netflix is available on the smart TV, and Wi-Fi is included.
The layout is compact and arranged for a couple: kitchen with the cooking essentials, a sitting area, and access to the shared garden and grounds outside. The property does not accept pets. Changeover is Friday.
Carlyon Bay is 1.6 miles away - a long arc of south-facing sand with a beach cafe at the western end. Charlestown, the restored Georgian harbour regularly used as a film and TV location, is 2.1 miles east. The Eden Project is roughly 5 miles north via the A390, a straightforward drive in under 15 minutes. Par station is a short walk from the house, and from there Truro is around 30 minutes by train while Plymouth takes under an hour.
Best for couples wanting a quiet, characterful base within easy range of the Eden Project and the mid-Cornwall south coast beaches. Less suited to families or groups larger than 2.
