Elmbank

Elmbank is a three-storey Victorian townhouse on Shutta Road in Looe, sleeping six in three super-king bedrooms. The property sits about 600m from East Looe Beach - a sandy town beach sheltered by the harbour walls with rock pools at low tide.

The ground floor has a kitchen and living/dining room. Two of the three bedrooms are on the second floor, one with its own balcony. All super-king beds are zip-link, convertible to twins. A shower room with basin and WC serves the property, along with a first-floor cloakroom. Gas central heating, WiFi, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer are included.

Plaidy Beach, a quieter mixed sand-and-shingle cove with year-round dog access and safe swimming, is 1.1km east along the coast path. A front terrace area has outdoor furniture. Parking is available in nearby car parks on a first-come basis. A cot and highchair can be provided, and up to two well-behaved pets are welcome.

Looe is a working fishing town split across East and West Looe, joined by a Victorian bridge over the river estuary. Pubs, fish restaurants, and independent shops line the narrow harbour streets. Boat trips to Looe Island - a Cornwall Wildlife Trust nature reserve with grey seals and nesting seabirds - run from the harbour in summer.
