Porthminster beach is 1.2 miles in the other direction. The South West Coast Path passes through Carbis Bay, connecting west towards Hayle or east into St Ives.

Best for couples or families of four who want sea views without the price or parking stress of St Ives itself. Less good for groups larger than four - the apartment is compact for its location, and there is no separate dining room.
