Fair View

Fair View is a four-bedroom detached cottage in St Just in the Roseland, a village on the quieter eastern side of the Roseland - one of the least commercialised parts of south Cornwall. It sleeps eight across four bedrooms with three bathrooms, making it practical for two families or a group that wants space to spread out.

Inside, the cottage has a wood burner in the sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a washing machine. Three bathrooms across four bedrooms means no bottleneck in the mornings. Wi-Fi and off-road parking are included. No dogs are accommodated.

The enclosed garden has a BBQ and faces south, suitable for family meals in warmer months. St Mawes beach is 1.7 miles from the property - the harbour village itself has waterfront pubs and a well-regarded fish restaurant. Little Great Molunan Beach, a smaller, quieter cove on the Roseland, is 2.5 miles. The seasonal King Harry Ferry connects to Trelissick Garden and the Falmouth side of the estuary, cutting a 40-mile road detour to about five minutes on the water.

Best for groups and families wanting a base on the Roseland within easy reach of St Mawes. Less good for dog owners or anyone wanting beach access on foot.
