Forest Glade Lodge

Forest Glade Lodge is a 4-star, two-bedroom lodge near Lanlivery, sleeping four with a kingsize ensuite bedroom and a twin room.

The lodge has a wrap-around decked veranda with two sun loungers, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, and a 55-inch TV in the open-plan living area. LPG heating, bed linen, towels and WiFi are included, and parking is allocated for two cars. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and the twin room has its own separate bathroom.

The Saints Way footpath, which links Padstow to Fowey, runs through the parish, and Lostwithiel with its railway station is 1.5 miles east. The nearest beach is about six and a half miles away, and the historic seaport of Fowey, six miles south with its restaurants and galleries, makes a good day out. Restormel Castle is 2.5 miles, the Eden Project 5.6 miles, and Newquay Cornwall Airport 19 miles.

Best for a couple or family wanting a quiet countryside base with private parking and space to spread out. Less good for anyone without a car, since shops are about seven and a half miles away and the nearest pub is half a mile down unlit lanes.
