The Chestnut Tree

The Chestnut Tree occupies a converted dairy and hayloft on a 250-acre working farm near Lanlivery, sleeping four across two ground-floor bedrooms - one king-size with en-suite, one twin. Cattle graze the neighbouring field, and farm visits can be arranged directly with the owners.

Lanlivery itself is farmland country a mile and a half west of Lostwithiel, with the granite tower of St Brevita's church, among the tallest in Cornwall, visible for miles around. The Eden Project is 3 miles away, and Fowey's estuary is roughly 4 miles south. Carlyon Bay, a long sandy beach with a championship golf course above it, is 4.3 miles from the farm; Charlestown Beach is 4.8 miles and Porthpean Beach 5.5 miles.
