The cottage is arranged over two floors and both bedrooms are upstairs. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC, and the second bedroom has bunk beds. The ground floor holds a shower room, a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with a wood burning stove, so there is no bedroom on the entrance level. The cottage has LPG central heating, a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and a DVD player. A cot, highchair, and stairgate are available for families.

The enclosed patio garden includes a gazebo and hot tub. Off-road parking fits 1 car. The cottage can be booked alongside Angarrack Farmhouse and Godrevy Barn for larger groups. Pets are not permitted.

Gwithian Towans - miles of dune-backed golden sand with surf hire and a beachside cafe - is 2 miles away. Porthkidney Beach, a wide, uncrowded strand popular with birdwatchers, is 2.2 miles. The nearest pub is 800 metres on foot. Hayle town centre, with its shops and rail station on the St Ives Bay Line, is about a mile away. St Ives is 3 miles west by road.

**Best for:** a family wanting a private hot tub and garden, with a cot, highchair and stairgate provided, near the surf beaches at Gwithian. **Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog, as pets are not permitted, and anyone who cannot manage stairs, since both bedrooms are on the upper floor. The hot tub also sits across the drive and down a few steps rather than outside the door.
