C16 Treverbyn, Riviere Towans

C16 Treverbyn is a two-bedroom beachfront cottage on Riviere Towans in Hayle, positioned directly on 3 miles of golden sand along St Ives Bay. Sea views from the property take in the sweep of the bay towards Godrevy lighthouse.

Inside, the cottage has a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stovetop, toaster and electric kettle. A TV and washing machine are included, and on-site parking removes the need to compete for spaces during peak season. The layout suits couples or a small family looking for a straightforward base with the beach on the doorstep.

The Towans dune system runs behind the beach, and the sand rarely feels crowded even in August. Hayle Estuary, an RSPB reserve and the most south-westerly estuary in the UK, is a short drive into town - good for birdwatching, with curlews, oystercatchers and little egrets among the regular visitors.

Hayle itself has a rail station on the St Ives Bay Line, making car-free trips to St Ives (3 miles west) easy. The South West Coast Path passes through Lelant and Carbis Bay on the walk to St Ives, roughly 7 miles on foot. St Michael's Mount is about 8.1 miles south, and Tate St Ives 7.5 miles along the coast.
