Govenek House

Govenek House is a three-storey period house for eight in the old part of Padstow, close to the harbour. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other three are doubles, all fitted with Simba mattresses, and three bathrooms serve the four bedrooms.

The interior keeps its period character alongside a strong colour palette throughout, spread across three storeys, and a wood burner provides the main indoor focal point. The garden has space for a barbecue, and Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are all included. Dogs are welcome, though no specific dog limit is stated.

The harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs of old Padstow are all a short walk away. Daymer Bay is 1.5 miles away across the Camel Estuary, Trevone Bay is 1.6 miles and Greenaway Beach is 1.9 miles. The Camel Trail cycle path to Bodmin starts nearby, and Rick Stein's restaurants and shop are within walking distance of the house. Padstow's Obby Oss festival, one of Cornwall's oldest folk traditions, takes over the town's streets each May Day.

**Best for:** families or friends wanting four bedrooms with three bathrooms between them, a wood burner and Padstow's harbour amenities close by.

**Less good for:** groups needing four bathrooms, a confirmed sea view, EV charging or verified step-free access.
