The interior is barn-scale: high ceilings, open-plan living, and enough room for two families. Three bathrooms means no morning queues. The hot tub and outdoor spaces make it work for group stays in spring and autumn when the coast is quiet but evenings are cold. Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and washing machine included. Mawgan Porth Beach is 5.6km away - a wide, north-facing sandy bay with reliable surf and a car park above the beach. Bedruthan Steps is 5.9km, the dramatic National Trust beach with rock stacks visible at low tide. Porthcothan Bay is 6.2km, smaller and less visited. Padstow itself has four fish restaurants within 200 metres of the harbour wall, including Rick Stein's flagship.

Best for two families or a group of eight wanting a countryside base with full facilities, close to Padstow and the north Cornwall surf beaches. Less good for couples - the scale and price make it a group property.
