Kittiwake Padstow

Kittiwake is a period townhouse for eight in Padstow, arranged across four floors 150 metres from the harbour.

The four bedrooms comprise two super-king rooms, a twin and a bunk room; one super-king converts to twins and the twin can become a super-king, so the layout flexes around the group. Three bathrooms serve the house, and the top-floor suite has its own en-suite plus views over the beach and estuary. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and BBQ are included. Dogs are not accepted.

An enclosed patio at ground level has dining furniture and an outdoor shower for washing off after the beach. Daymer Bay Beach is 1.6 miles away across the estuary, Trevone Bay 1.7 miles and Greenaway Beach 1.9 miles.

The water taxi to Rock leaves from the harbour below, and Rick Stein's restaurants and the Camel Trail cycle path both start in the town centre, a short walk from the house. Padstow's Obby Oss festival fills the same streets every May Day, one of Cornwall's oldest surviving traditions.
